Preparing fresh quality
Category: Fresh Produce · Origin: Egypt
Description
Our potatoes are grown in Egypt’s fertile Nile Delta and desert reclamation lands, harvested at full maturity, then cleaned, sorted and graded to export standards. Each shipment is carefully inspected to ensure uniform size, firm texture and skin quality suited for long-distance transport.
Our leading variety, Spunta, is known for its oblong shape, yellow skin and creamy flesh with medium dry matter (16–17%) — well suited for both table use and finger frying. Potatoes are valued worldwide as a source of complex carbohydrates, potassium and Vitamin C.
